Welcome & Introductions! 

Treasury Report

  • Finances: $10,978.14
  • Savings: $280.69
  • Checking: $10,504.95
  • Cash (change for future events): $192.50

Holiday Gift Report- Sarah Staffiere

  • Past initiatives: 
    • Baskets for the teachers 
  • This year: 
    • Give away each day with different items:
      • Lipbalm, gum, kcups, snacks, candy bars
      • Supporting ASHS hot chocolate bar 
    • Gift card donations from various businesses for teachers 
    • Budget: ~$5 per person
      • $850 APPROVED 
    • Needs: 
      • Volunteers to help bring baskets each morning to GJM & ASHS
        • Christina White – GJM
      • Sarah S. to send out donation letter so everyone has a copy 
      • Sarah Le Van to post a thank you on social media
      • Gift card donations
        • David 
        • Sarah Le Van

Current Fundraisers: 

  • Spirit Wear Sale
    • Needs: 
      • Sarah Le Van to create flyer to be sent in students folders to increase holiday shopping
        • Direct Donation Drive
          • To begin second full week of Jan & end in early February  
          • “99 Pledges to 100th Day”
          • Businesses get ad in the year book 
          • Prize: Principle for the day APPROVED by both schools 
          • Needs: 
            • Flyer to be created and sent the first week back 

Student Enrichment: 

  • Request from ASHS Afterschool Robotics Club for robotics kit 
  • Cost $500 – APPROVED TO SUPPORT
  • Needs: 
    • List of all student enrichment projects we have supported to be added to social media, website, and newsletter 

Website: 

  • Update provided by David 
  • Needs: 
    • Review of site and suggestions sent directly to David 
    • Add student enrichment page, donation thank you page, and update minutes page 

PTA Newsletter: 

  • Erica is taking the lead on the newsletter 
  • First newsletter to be released in January 

Yearbook: 

  • Rebecca lead on yearbook for both GJM & ASHS 
  • One book per school; not combined due to cost and amount of pages per book 
  • Needs: 
    • Volunteers to help with lead for ASHS
      • Christina White can help with ASHS 
    • Gathering photos from each school 
    • Creation of books
