Pumpkins Secured, Missing Accomplished!

This past Thursday, our community came together in an act of generosity and teamwork to bring a little autumn joy to our students and we couldn’t be more grateful!

Thanks to the incredible efforts of Jesse Meredith, we were able to deliver approximately 50 pumpkins to George J. Mitchell School and 35 to Albert S. Hall School. Jesse carved out time in a busy week to make this happen, and we want to recognize him as absolutely instrumental in this effort. Thank you, Jesse, for your heart and hustle!

We also received a heartfelt thank-you from June Linscott, a kindergarten teacher at George J. Mitchell, who shared how much this donation means to her students. It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our school leaders. A big shoutout to Erica Morrison, Vice Principal at George J. Mitchell, and Tabitha King, Dean of Students at Albert S. Hall, for helping coordinate behind the scenes. Your support makes all the difference. Make sure to grab some extra pumpkins outside each school if you’re looking to decorate before the 31st! Please ask administrators where to find them!

And let’s not forget our generous community partner: Sophia Lindsay from Johnny’s Selected Seeds. Their contribution helped make this pumpkin pickup possible. If you’re looking for seeds, pumpkins, or garden inspiration, we encourage you to check them out!
