  • Request from GJMS Nurse: $50 for snacks—PTA approved
    • Jesse to bring check to GJMS
  • 100^th Day of School Celebration: February 7^th
    • Last year, we provided crafts and treats to Kinder and 1^st grades
    • Carrie to email teachers to see if they need support this year
    • We also did a can food drive last year—not sure if we will repeat
    • The 100^th Day of school will also be last day of Pledge Drive; so, schools will do the raffle to select the “Principal for the Day” winner for both school sites
    • Did discuss possible Spirit Day celebration on this day
  • Fourth Grade Field Trip to LC Bates
    • We will hear from Fourth Grade teachers about cost and possible date
• Communication Update:

• Teacher Appreciation:
  • The winter storm disrupted the distribution of teacher holiday gifts
  • These gifts were distributed this week (January 2-5)
  • Teachers have responded positively
  • NOTE: GJMS did not have a Keurig machine and we donated K-cups. Christina donated a Keurig machine to the GJMS teacher lounge—THANK YOU!!
  • Do not need to purchase more gift certificates for weekly teacher drawing
