Welcome to the Waterville Maine Elementary School PTA fundraising page!
We are a group of dedicated parents and teachers who are committed to providing our students with the best possible education. We raise money to support a variety of programs and initiatives, including:
- Student Enrichment: Supporting our children with specialized programs and experiences including Field trips, classroom resources, school assemblies, and a community Garden.
- Teacher/Staff Support: Conducting Teacher/Staff Appreciation and resource support.
- Volunteering: Chaperoning Field Trips, Lunch/Playground Duty, Community Event Support, Classroom Support, Star of the Month, School Beautification.
- School Events: Fundraising allows us to host community events that help create lasting memories including Bingo Nights, a Read-a-thon, Roller Rink Party, and many more!
- School Food Pantry: Helping to keep our community Healthy and Strong by bagging weekend packages and distributing them to students.
- School spiritwear: We sell school spiritwear, such as t-shirts and sweatshirts, to help students show their pride in their school.
Fundraisers are an essential part of the PTA’s work so that we can fund key initiatives at the Hall and Mitchell schools. We have regularly scheduled fundraisers every year – and we have new fundraisers in the works. We would be delighted if you would like to help out with the fundraisers in any way. Check them out!
Trivia Night March 2024; A Huge Thank You to Our Trivia Night Stars!
The Waterville PTA extends a heartfelt thank you to Peter Hallen and his daughter for their fantastic job hosting our recent Trivia Night! Their enthusiasm and energy made the night a blast for everyone.
We also want to thank all the wonderful families who came out to participate. Seeing so many smiling faces and engaged minds was truly rewarding.
We were thrilled to award so many prizes to all the kiddos who put their knowledge to the test!
We can’t wait for our next PTA event!
Spirit Wear Sale
The Spirit Wear Sale happens every year during the second half of November. We have awesome Waterville Elementary Schools spirit wear swag featuring Waffles the Panther Cub!

- Your donations will help pay for:
- Funding Class Field Trips and Student Assemblies
- Teacher Grants to Purchase Classroom Resources

Online Charity Auction
The Online Charity Auction is conducted in partnership with Colby College. Local businesses and artists donate items to the auction, which are then sold on an online auction platform. The auction usually takes place at the end of November and the beginning of December.
We need volunteers to:
- Coordinate the auction with Colby College
- Recruit local businesses and artists to donate items for the auction

Read-A-Thon
The Read-A-Thon is an excellent way to promote learning and fundraising at the same time.
We need volunteers to:
- Help plan the Read-A-Thon
- Publicize the Read-A-Thon
- Recruit sponsors

The majority of the Waterville Elementary PTA’s operational fund goes to Field Trips, Classroom Resources, Specials Support (Art, Music, Computer, Gym, and Library), School Beautification, Teacher Appreciation, and the Food Pantries.
