Funding Approved for LC Bates Presentations and Discovery Museum Field Trips

We are thrilled to announce that our PTA has approved $503.40 for the 2nd Grade LC Bates presentations for both Fall and Spring. We aim to hand over the check to the school during Bingo Night to save a trip.

Amber Campbell has finalized the total of $180 needed for the Kindergarten Discovery Museum field trips, which we preliminarily approved during our October 3rd meeting.

Request from Music Teacher Jo Hampton

Jo Hampton, our dedicated music teacher at GJM, has requested funding for a new rug for the music room. The rug, priced at $1016 on Amazon, features unique musical symbols that align with our curriculum and provides ample space for 24 students. While this amount exceeds our typical allocation for special requests, we are considering offering a partial amount to support this purchase. We welcome any suggestions or ideas on how to proceed.

Heartfelt Thanks from Our Teachers

We received a wonderful thank you note from Maureen Lee, expressing her gratitude for the teacher grants. She is excited to use the funds creatively to benefit her classroom. A big shoutout to Sarah Staffiere for her efforts in distributing these grants this month – you are the real MVP!

Pumpkin Harvest and Delivery

Johnny Selected Seeds has an urgent need to harvest pumpkins early due to an upcoming frost. We are coordinating volunteers to pick up and deliver the pumpkins to the schools before Bingo Night.
