Fundraising Updates

We have raised $8,324 so far from Family Bingo Night and the Direct Donation Drive! Thank you to all who contributed!

Upcoming Family Bingo Night – March 26th

• Volunteers Needed: We need help running the event, gathering prizes, and organizing food donations.
• Prizes: We still need grand prizes. Please reach out if you can help secure local business donations.
• Food Donations:
  • Sarah LeVan is working on pizza donations and needs assistance securing prizes.
  • Carrie LeVan will bring additional hot dogs, buns, and nacho supplies.
  • Sarah LeVan will bring chili.
  • David Motel, Carrie LeVan, and Sarah LeVan will provide crockpots.
• Promotion: Flyers will be distributed to administrators, and we will post on social media.

Kindergarten Registration & Skate Night

• Kindergarten Registration: May 21st and 22nd. No school for students on May 23rd.
• Skate Night: Planned for May 15th. We will reach out to book the rink.

Community Carnival – June 7th (11 AM – 2 PM)

• Events: Free and ticketed activities.
• Presale Game Tickets: Available but no discounts.
• Ticket Pricing: Needs to be increased.
• Community Partnerships: More local business donations needed.
• Outreach: A shared contact spreadsheet has been distributed among PTA members to facilitate outreach.
• Marketing: We will contact Moose Radio and Morning Sentinel for promotion.

Yearbook Updates

• Principals & Staff Notified about accessing the shared drive for yearbook photos.
• Organized Folders: Created for each grade, specials, guidance, and other categories.
• Photo Management: Christina is sorting received photos into respective folders.
• Orders: Over 30 yearbook orders received already! Flyers have been distributed at both schools.

Teacher Appreciation Week – May 5-9

• Previous Efforts:
  • Albert S. Hall School: Staff lounge setup (2023)
  • George J. Mitchell School: Room service & teacher grants
• Planned Activities:
  • Coffee Bar Initiative: We will reach out to Wild Clover, Sunrise Bagel, Selah Tea, or Starbucks for food donations or discounts.
  • Coffee Donations: We will contact Mbingo Mt. Coffee for coffee bag donations.
